Join us on December 7, 2024 for Building a Climate Resilient Navarro River Watershed Community Meeting #3

This is the final meeting in the series, and will feature morning field tours of climate-beneficial activities. An afternoon session will be held at the Anderson Valley Grange, with presentations on finance for climate-beneficial practices, Pomo engagement, watershed-level carbon accounting, and the development of a local restoration economy.

Participants will gain insights into ongoing efforts to reduce wildfire risk, improve water resources, sequester carbon, and foster biodiversity, all while strengthening community ties and sustainable practices.

Hosted by the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District in partnership with the Anderson Valley Land Trust and other local organizations, this free event invites community members, land stewards, and managers of forests, vineyards, orchards, and rangelands to come together to support a resilient future for the Navarro River Watershed.
